Wow – what a night!
Dunedin you shone and generously contributed to an amazing total of $284k raised for RMHC New Zealand. We hope you are as excited as we are about the news of a Ronald McDonald House here in Dunedin located nearby to the new hospital and train station – thanks to each and every one of you and the amazing generosity of this region to make this happen.
A huge thanks to Angus, his Mum and his brave Dad who shared their journey and multiple stays at Ronald McDonald houses illustrating just how important a facility of this kind is for families with a sick child.
We were super honoured to announce Dunedin Supper Club’s inaugural Patron Saints, Chery & Chris Staynes and thank them for their generous legacy of support to RMHC New Zealand.
A big shout out to Damian from the Breeze who, as always did an awesome job and our Amazing Auctioneers Rob Fowler, Logan Moore and John More who worked their magic to great effect on the live auction. We would also like to acknowledge Michael Trillo and his hardworking team who once again captured so brilliantly the event.
A massive shout out to Lion, Bidfood and Dunedin Venues for their ongoing pre-function support at the Town Hall and Allied Press for all their support and sharing the news of the event and Dunedin’s RMH property.
We’ve been receiving amazing feedback from the incredible restaurants, venues, chefs and teams who cooked up a storm and warmly served attendees – again, thank you, we could not make this happen without you.
And lastly everyone who gave their support through generous donations to our silent and live auctions, bidding on an item, attending the 2023 event, volunteering and making it all happen – thank you, this is a huge result for Dunedin and kids who need it most.

Every year over 1,000 attendees gather at Dunedin’s Town Hall to enjoy a drink and canapes and find out where they will be dining. Without the support of Dunedin Venues Management Ltd it would make this kind of gathering incredibly difficult.

Dunedin Supper Club were delighted that once again, Lion has the naming rights to this year’s pre-dinner function.
Lion provides all the beer and wine for the pre-dinner function and have done so for many years now. Nigel, Hayden and their team are only too willing to help wherever they can including generously donating prizes for the silent auction.
Two of their qualified bar managers helped us set up the bars and then kindly volunteer their time to help our teams out on the night.
Justin and Eterei Stonelake are very busy Dunedin’s McDonald’s franchisees. Watching their team learn and grow professional and personally combined with having the ability to support a charity that is very dear to them – RMHC New Zealand is extremely rewarding.
Over the past eleven years the Dunedin McDonald’s Ambassador team have raised in excess of two million dollars through the efforts of the Dunedin Supper Club to provide Kiwi families with emotional, financial and practical assistance whilst their child is in hospital.
