2026 Event

Our Heartfelt Thanks

What a night Dunedin. He Waka Kōtuia surprised a packed Town Hall who came together for the Lion sponsored Pre-dinner Function with their beautiful voices setting the scene for a magical evening. Rory Harrold from King's High School then caught everyone's attention on the bagpipes announcing the arrival of our amazing MC, Damien from The Breeze who, as always, did a brilliant job of corralling a lively crowd.

This year we farewelled Annemarie Jorissen with heartfelt thanks for her generous dedication to all things Supper Club, and welcomed Lisa Tai, the new CEO of RMHC New Zealand to her first Dunedin Supper Club who shared an update on the progress towards a Dunedin house for families with a sick child in hospital.

Then the fun started. Our incredible auctioneers, Rob Fowler and Logan Moore from Rural Livestock, together with John More from Haywards Auction House Dunedin, drove up the excitement through some hotly contested live auctions. The Findex sponsored raffle and the online auction generously sponsored by Otago Painting Solutions helped achieve a stunning result raising our interim total to an incredible $450,000. Just amazing!

We are truly humbled by the generosity of our sponsors, supporters, volunteers, wider Otago community and everyone who attended on the night: thank you. Huge shout out to all our dining destinations, venues and their hardworking teams who delivered some exceptional dining experiences. The celebrations didn't stop there with thanks to Andre, Max and the team at Vault 21 for hosting a fantastic after-party for those who kicked on.

As we heard from Jordy and Ryan who bravely took the stage with their son Eddy, when your child is sick in hospital, having a home away from home at a Ronald McDonald House makes all the difference. It keeps families together when they need each other most. We're extremely excited that a House is coming to Dunedin, and thank each and every one of you for contributing to make it happen.

With our immense gratitude from Justin & Eterei and the Dunedin Supper Club committee

With special thanks to our Platinum sponsors for their enduring and generous support

Lion

Dunedin Supper Club is delighted that Lion once again holds the naming rights to this year's pre-dinner function. Lion has supplied the beer and wine for the pre-dinner event for many years, and generously donates prizes for the silent auction.

Lion's qualified bar managers help set up the Town Hall bars and volunteer their time on the night to support our team.

McDonalds

Justin and Eterei Stonelake are Dunedin's McDonald's franchisees. Watching their team grow professionally and personally, alongside supporting a charity close to their hearts, RMHC New Zealand, makes the work extremely rewarding.

Over the past decade, the Dunedin McDonald's Ambassador team has raised more than $3 million through Dunedin Supper Club and other fundraising initiatives, providing Kiwi families with emotional, financial, and practical support while their child is in hospital.
