Every year, RMHC New Zealand offers free accommodation and support to thousands of families with a child in a hospital away from home. This helps relieve stress like paying for a place to sleep near the hospital, organising family meals, and needing a friendly ear to listen on tough days. Globally, the relationship between RMHC and McDonald’s goes back more than 45 years, helping to support families in 64 countries positively impacting over 6.5 million people.

 

As Founding Mission Partner, McDonald’s® New Zealand has been supporting RMHC® New Zealand since it was first established as an independent charity in 1989. McDonald’s franchisees, crew, and suppliers show their support in a variety of ways to help raise much-needed funds.
